Chelsea’s struggling striker is poised to make a permanent summer move.

It is anticipated that Armando Broja will depart Chelsea permanently in the summer, with both the team and the player content to reach an agreement.

After making the quick trip across west London at the beginning of February, the 22-year-old, who is presently on loan at Fulham, has not had a good start to his career.

The international player from Albania switched teams in an attempt to get more playing time, but so far that hasn’t worked out and he hasn’t started a single Premier League match for the Cottagers.

It has been a somewhat disastrous move for the striker, who has been handed seven substitute appearances in the top division and has not scored in any of them.

Although Broja’s Stamford Bridge contract expires in 2028, transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano says the team plans to try to let him go this summer.

There won’t be a lack of interest in Broja despite his dismal tenure at Fulham; teams in England and throughout Europe are reportedly eager to sign him.

With just two league starts for Chelsea in the previous season and six in the first half of this one before departing for Fulham, Broja has had a difficult time due to injuries and form over the past two seasons.

After spending a season on loan at Southampton in 2021–2022, the striker gained a lot of admirers, but in the Premier League, he has only scored twice since.

In January, Broja was up for permanent sale from Chelsea, but they were looking for at least £40 million, and no one was interested at the moment.

His reputation hasn’t improved on his current loan transfer, so the Blues will probably have to settle for far less than that in the summer if they want him off the books.
