Harry Kane has dismissed speculation of an emergency team meeting following England’s 1-1 draw with Denmark in Euro 2024. Rumors suggested Kane had organized the meeting to address criticism of the team’s performance.
Kane explained, “No, that didn’t happen. I’m not sure where that’s come from. It was probably just people trying to create something out of nothing.” He clarified that the day after the match involved a routine debrief with the manager followed by a family day, aimed at relaxation and mental rejuvenation.
Reflecting on the day off, Kane admitted, “It was pretty hectic to be fair, we might cut that down in the future. It was an important day to switch our minds off. We’ve done well in the tournament so far, so it was an important day to switch our minds off.”
