SmackDown is headed to Orlando this week, and there is a lot to be excited about. The WWE Universe will get to witness a Number One Contenders Match between Street Profits and #DIY for the WWE Tag Team Championship, Nia Jax’s WWE Women’s Championship victory celebration hosted by Tiffany Stratton, and of course, an appearance from the Original Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns. But could there be more in store for fans? Could a former tag team champion return with a new partner?
The former tag team champion in question here is Shotzi, and the answer to the question, at least for now, is a “No!” The new partner that the former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion could have returned within this scenario is Michin.
The SmackDown Superstar has been hinting at the idea of the two teaming up via social media, even pitching it to Shotzi on X (Twitter).
However, given that Shotzi is currently out with an injury and is expected to be sidelined for at least nine months, the chances of her returning on this week’s SmackDown are zero. That being said, the idea of her and Michin teaming up in the future should not be ruled out. The female stars could join forces in the future to form a formidable tag team.
Roman Reigns may finish The Bloodline this week on SmackDown
Perhaps the most exciting thing about this week’s SmackDown is that fans will once again get to see Roman Reigns. The Original Tribal Chief made his presence felt last week, decimating the likes of Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa. But that was nothing more than a teaser, as The Big Dog could finish The Bloodline off in Orlando, Florida.
As August 16, 2024, inches closer, WWE has started hyping up this highly anticipated episode of the Friday Night Show, leading to speculations that Roman could finally cripple Solo’s Bloodline and reclaim the Ula Fala.
However, the probability of such an event is low, as The Big Dog could face a brutal attack after being outnumbered by the heel faction.
