Bayley is one of the greatest female superstars in WWE history. She started her career with the Sports Entertainment juggernaut over a decade ago and has gone on to make history multiple times over.
The Role Model is a Grand Slam Champion. She has won every women’s title available to her at one point, which then included the NXT Women’s Title, RAW Women’s Title, SmackDown Women’s Championship, and the Women’s Tag Team Titles.
She was a world champion again recently after dethroning IYO SKY at WrestleMania 40. Unfortunately, she went on to lose her prized belt at SummerSlam in a match against Nia Jax. In the time since then, Bayley has been radio silent and didn’t even appear on SmackDown last week.
While it isn’t clear when Bayley will show up next, there is a very real chance that she’ll make her presence known this Friday. This article will take a look at a handful of things that The Role Model could do on SmackDown on FOX if she does indeed appear.

Below are four things Bayley can do on WWE SmackDown.
#4. She could announce a break from WWE television
As noted, Bayley has spent around a decade in WWE and has done so at a major level. Be it becoming a top star on NXT or a world champion across both RAW and SmackDown, she has been a tremendous success.
The Role Model hasn’t had too many breaks either outside of a few injuries. As a result, she is very likely worn down from the constant battering she receives in the ring, the travel, and the training. This could lead to an unfortunate announcement this Friday.
If Bayley appears on WWE SmackDown this week, she may announce she’s taking a break from the ring for a while. This could both be due to the aforementioned reasons, but also potentially due to depression caused by her loss at SummerSlam. If she’s taking the defeat hard, a break may serve her well.
#3. Bayley could crash Nia Jax’s championship celebration

Bayley’s loss of the WWE Women’s Championship was unfortunate and many fans were crushed. One person who was much more pleased, however, was the woman who defeated The Role Model for the gold: Nia Jax.
Nia Jax won the belt at SummerSlam, but she didn’t exactly do it alone. Tiffany Stratton caused a distraction which allowed Jax to take advantage and put down the champion. Now a big segment is scheduled for WWE SmackDown, which will be a celebration for Queen Nia following her championship win.
There is a chance that Bayley will crash this upcoming segment. She could show up and smash Nia over the back with a kendo stick and then attack Stratton for costing The Role Model the win at SummerSlam. From there, Bayley could make it clear that she wants a rematch for her coveted belt.
#2. She could officially form a tag team with Michin

The WWE Women’s Tag Team Title picture is heating up considerably. The reigning champions are The Unholy Union, but several other alliances are looking to take them down. This includes Damage CTRL, Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill, and The Pure Fusion Collective.
There is a chance that Bayley, who has long been one of the bigger advocates for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship division, could return to it. Now that the scene is flourishing, The Role Model could help elevate it to the next level. She just needs a partner.
Michin could be the person who teams up with Bayley. They were once enemies, but the two have united on television recently. If they can remain on the same page, the pair would be a major threat for anybody in the division and this could lead to Michin’s first title in the company.
#1. The Role Model could snap and turn heel
Bayley’s career in WWE started off as an innocent fangirl of sorts. She was shy and mild tempered and viewers quickly became fans of The Hugger. How could somebody dislike a character such as that?
She kept this character for many years, but 2019 saw a change. Bayley cut her hair, changed her theme song, and stopped hugging. Instead, Bayley became a vicious heel and remained one all the way up to earlier this year. Now, Bayley is beloved again and extremely over.
That could change some SmackDown, however. Likely frustrated by her loss, The Role Model could snap and turn heel yet again. This time, she could attack Naomi or Michin, either of which will likely cause fans to become enraged.
From there, Bayley could claim that she had become soft and that’s why she lost the gold. This could be a much-needed edge after a heartbreaking defeat.
