Andy Howson says Liam Harrison is “ready to bring the heat” to Denver in super fight against Seksan

Liam Harrison is primed to turn back the clock in his looming super fight against fellow legend Seksan.

The British Muay Thai and kickboxing icon has been putting in the work in his home gym at Bad Company, and his trainer Andy Howson believes ‘Hitman’ is ready to unleash pure violence in Denver.

Harrison, who’s coming off a two-year injury layoff, will face Thai legend Seksan in a catchweight (140 pounds) Muay Thai match at ONE 168: Denver on September 6 at Ball Arena.

Howson, a multi-time world champion and former ONE Championship fighter, has since retired from competition and serves as Harrison’s trainer.

In his several Instagram posts, Howson often gives updates on Harrison’s training camp and his most recent one showed the utter ferocity that his old friend has.

Howson posted:

“Three weeks out and Hitman is ready to bring the heat to #ONE168 in Denver 🔥. Seeing the week out in true @liambadco fashion, always turning up the intensity and becoming an even bigger problem for when he steps into the cage with Seksan. Get ready for a fight that will go down In History people 💥”

Howson’s video showed Liam Harrison in his typical self battering the pads with wall-breaking combinations.

Harrison and Seksan are two of the best fighters of their generation, with multiple world titles and nearly 300 combined wins between them.

Seksan is a four-time Muay Thai world champion, with 201 career wins in his lengthy career.

Harrison, meanwhile, captured 90 professional wins and secured eight Muay Thai and kickboxing world titles.

Tickets for ONE 168: Denver are available at Ticketmaster.

Liam Harrison in what makes his home gym Bad Company such a special place to him

Fighters often spend as much time inside the gym as they do in their homes, but Liam Harrison feels the line between the two places has already been blurred.

Harrison, in an interview with The FullerWatt Podcast, said his teammates at Bad Company in his hometown of Leeds, England have become a second family to him.

It also helps that his trainer and teammate Andy Howson has been his childhood friend. Harrison said:

“I mean, we’ve got like a family feel in there. But when everyone is in fight camp together, that family feel is aside when you’re try to f***ing punch each other’s heads in in sparing, you know what I mean?”
