Massive stipulation for CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre rematch at WWE’s Bash in Berlin reportedly revealed

The rivalry between WWE Superstars CM Punk and Drew McIntyre seems far from over. A new report has unveiled a potential stipulation for a rematch between the two at the upcoming Bash in Berlin premium live event.

At SummerSlam 2024, The Scottish Warrior defeated The Straight Edge Superstar in a hard-fought match. The distraction caused by special guest referee Seth Rollins holding the latter’s bracelet proved to be a decisive factor in the outcome.

McIntyre, however, once again seized Punk’s cherished bracelet, which bears the names of the latter’s wife and dog. On the August 12, 2024, installment of Monday Night RAW, The Second City Saint ambushed the former WWE Champion before attempting to reclaim his bracelet. When The Scottish Warrior unbuckled his belt to strike Punk, the latter reversed the move, seized the belt, and used it to attack the former 3MB member.

According to the latest report from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, CM Punk and Drew McIntyre will clash in a brutal Strap Match at Bash in Berlin on August 31, 2024.

Former WWE employee believes CM Punk and Drew McIntyre could have a third match

As of this writing, the sports entertainment juggernaut could be planting seeds for The Best in the World vs. The Scottish Warrior II at Bash in Berlin. Former WWE employee Tommy Carlucci offered his take on the escalating feud between two superstars, speculating about a potential third match.

On the Behind The Turnbuckle: The Last Word podcast, Carlucci suggested that if CM Punk defeats Drew McIntyre in their upcoming match, WWE might book a third encounter between the two rivals inside Hell in a Cell at the Bad Blood premium live event.

“Now, maybe Punk goes over or whatever happens there and then ends up at Bad Blood, Hell in a Cell,” Carlucci said.
