Roman Reigns’ cousin Lance Anoa’i made an emotional post saying, “I love you. Papa,” following the passing of his father, Afa Anoa’i. Reigns also made a post paying tribute, and a few Bloodline members reacted to this.
As you probably know, it wasn’t long ago when Roman Reigns’ father, Sika Anoa’i, passed away. One-half of the Wild Samoans, the other half Afa was fighting a battle with illness and succumbed to it, passing away not long before the August 16 episode of SmackDown.

Tama Tonga didn’t respond, as he doesn’t seem to be very active on Twitter/X. However, one can rest assured that the entire Anoa’i and Tongan family are mourning the loss of one of their earliest generation of superstars.
The Ula Fala that once belonged to Roman Reigns means a lot more now following Afa and Sika’s passing
Many may recall that after Hell in a Cell 2020, early into Roman Reigns’ Tribal Chief run, his father, Uncle Afa, and Sika gave him the Ula Fala. Now that they have passed away, its value has significantly risen.
The current war between Reigns and Solo Sikoa’s version of The Bloodline seems to be a power struggle, with Roman taking up the “OTC” name to indicate that there is one and only one Tribal Chief.
Some fans have likened the Ula Fala to a championship in itself. On the August 16 episode of SmackDown, Reigns finally wore the Ula Fala again to a massive pop from the Orlando crowd.
It only lasted for a few seconds as Jacob Fatu returned and assaulted him – with the show ending with Solo Sikoa wearing the Ula Fala. That’s the power of great storytelling when a prop can be as important as a title. To many long-time wrestling fans, even Championships are just props.
