New York Knicks forward Josh Hart was caught off guard after IShowSpeed wanted to do a backflip trick for him during Fanatics Fest. The event was filled with stars, mostly players and legends from the Knicks, but they were also joined by other celebrities like the streaming star.
While on stage, Speed wanted to show off his athleticism in front of proven athletes. Originally, he had the urge to do a backflip in front of Hart and Jalen Brunson. The Knicks stars quickly left the area where the streamer was planning to do the trick. But it wasn’t an ordinary trick as he wanted to step on the armrest of the chair while the forward was sitting.
He tried to convince Hart that it was safe but the Knicks player felt uncomfortable with the positioning of his face and Speed’s crotch. Lil Wayne, who was also on stage, even warned the famed streamer that he could hurt Hart in the process. But Speed assured everyone that it was safe since he’s done backflips plenty of times.
Eventually, Speed agreed to do it with a different person while Hart guided them by holding down the chair. Watch the video below to see the backflip from the internet personality.

Josh Hart isn’t a fan of Brunson’s soccer club choice
Brunson was gifted a customized jersey with his No. 11 by English soccer champions Manchester City. The All-Star point guard posed for a picture with the jersey, and the Knicks social media team posted with the caption “Mr. New York” both on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram.
However, Josh Hart wasn’t a fan of the post as he reposted it with three vomiting emojis on X.
Hart is no stranger to the sport of soccer. He’s a fan of Manchester City’s longtime rival, Chelsea Football Club. This is why he wasn’t a fan of ‘Mr. New York’ for holding up a Man City jersey on social media.
As Hart reacted to Brunson’s photo with ManCity, the star point guard had to clap back.
“My reaction when you scared to play CFB,” Brunson said.
But it’s nothing new to the fans as he and Brunson have always expressed brotherly ribbing. Fans have loved how they always have friendly banter on their podcast “The Roommates Show” and social media.
