28-year-old Mexican Muay Thai standout ‘Tuzo’ Josue Cruz is looking to shock the world when he takes on highly regarded 18-year-old Malaysian sensation ‘Jojo’ Johan Ghazali next weekend.
The Mahmoudi Gym Mexico representative believes he has discovered a chink in Ghazali’s armor that he can exploit.
Speaking to ONE Championship in a recent interview, Cruz shared his thoughts on Ghazali’s skills and where he thinks he can take advantage.
‘Tuzo’ said:
“He’s a complete fighter and doesn’t have many weaknesses, but I did notice that he lost his focus in his last fight. He seemed stressed that things weren’t going his way. I’m going to take advantage of that and make sure to capitalize on the moments when he gets desperate.”
‘Tuzo’ Josue Cruz is set to lock horns with ‘Jojo’ Johan Ghazali in a three-round flyweight Muay Thai showdown.
The two do battle at ONE 168: Denver, which broadcasts live from the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado, on Friday, September 6.
Fans in the United States and Canada can catch all the action live and absolutely free on Amazon Prime Video. Tickets are still available in limited capacity on Ticketmaster.
