Rudy Gobert’s girlfriend Julia shares heart-warming snaps with 3-month-old son from lavish island getaway

It is arguably the best year for Rudy Gobert‘s career and personal life. The Minnesota Timberwolves defensive star won his fourth Defensive Player of the Year award. Moreover, amid their successful playoff outing, he also welcomed his first son into the world.

After winning silver in the Paris Olympics, Gobert is now enjoying the best time with his family in France. His wife, Julia, posted pictures of their family gateway on Saint Barthélemy, a Caribbean island.

In one of the pictures, she was with her husband, while she cradled her three-month-old baby on the seashore.

Rudy Gobert and Julia welcomed their son, Romeo, on May 7 this year. After his Game 1 win against the Denver Nuggets in the second round of the 2024 playoffs, Gobert missed Game 2. He took leave to be with his girlfriend who was delivering their son.

Despite his absence from the game, the Timberwolves had a very convincing win over the 2023 NBA champions. Without their defensive star, the Timberwolves defeated the Nuggets 106-80 in Game 2.

May 7 was an emotional day for Julia and Rudy Gobert, as the couple welcomed Romeo to the family. Just two weeks after the birth of her son, Julia penned a beautiful message for her son on social media.

She posted a few pictures of him, and in the first, Romeo was sleeping with his palms folded under his cheek. In the second picture, he was holding his father Rudy Gobert’s fingers.

In the last picture, Julia was feeding her son while looking at him:

Romeo just turned three months old. After winning silver at the Paris Olympics, Gobert is making the best of this offseason.

This is not the first time that the couple has been enjoying a vacation. On August 17, Julia posted updates about her tropical gateway with her boyfriend on a boat.
