Slated for September 6 inside the Ball Arena, Denver, Colorado, Ghazali expects another tough opponent following the first setback in his fighting career, and he would not underestimate Cruz at any point.
But above all, the 17-year-old phenom wants to show that he has what it takes to stand among the best fighters in the world’s largest martial arts organization.
‘Jojo’ recently told South China Morning Post about his expectations for his next challenge ahead:
“I want to showcase my skills. I’m known for my punches, but in this fight, I’m planning to do other stuff. Use more of my legs, elbows, mix it up a bit.”
As per the statement, it is likely that the young Malaysian has been fully prepared to go all out in much-awaited and the biggest clash in his career so far.

Aside from his bread-and-butter, which are his punches, ‘Jojo’ knows that he needs to step up his game in order to entertain the crowd, without having to underestimate his opponent, Josue Cruz.
Known for his raw power and relentless aggression, Ghazali told ONE Championship:
“I want to do the work with my hands, pressure him, break his defense, and have fun. But who knows, there could be a head kick or something that fans have never seen before.”
