The WWE SmackDown before Bash in Berlin kicked off in Germany, with the United States Champion LA Knight greeting the crowd.
Knight reminded us that it had been 27 years since we had a televised WWE show in the country.
The champ called for an open challenge for the United States Championship, and Ludwig Kaiser showed up to answer it. He said no other German superstar was better suited to challenge the LA Knight, and he got a big reaction from the Berlin crowd before we headed for the match first match on SmackDown.

In a vignette, Solo Sikoa and the Bloodline bragged about taking down Jimmy Uso and Roman Reigns. He said that whoever holds the Undisputed WWE Championship after tomorrow’s match, The Bloodline will go after them.
Nick Aldis was out next, and he called Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens to discuss tomorrow’s Undisputed WWE Championship match.
Owens asked Cody about his knee injury from a recent live show, but the champ brushed it off and addressed KO, almost attacking him from behind last week after the match against A-Town Down Under.
Owens said he would never attack Cody, and Rhodes said he would be mad if he were in KO’s place since the latter doesn’t get enough credit while the champ is celebrated endlessly.
KO said he would never hit a cheap shot on Cody and that he and the fans knew the champ’s knee was in a bad state.
Kevin insisted that Cody wasn’t at hundred percent and added that he didn’t want the fans to doubt his victory in case he won. Rhodes stomped his foot and said he was perfectly fine before asking KO if they would still be friends after tomorrow’s match.
KO tossed the mic and said something in Cody’s ear before walking off as SmackDown continued.
A- Town Down Under was making fun of Baron Corbin and Apollo Crews backstage, and Corbin got furious before Crews dragged him away.
When Corbin and Crews were gone, Theory called Waller out for trash-talking too much and getting them in trouble. Waller said that’s what they do in Australia and promised to tone it down.

Melo was sent outside early on and took a corkscrew plancha from Andrade before returning to the ring for a big springboard clothesline. Melo took a double stomp on the apron before he was sent into the turnbuckles.

WWE SmackDown Results: Nia Jax (c) vs. Michin – WWE Women’s Championship match
Michin started with a kendo stick and got some big strikes, but Nia snatched it away as they headed outside the ring. The champ was pushed into the ring post before they got back to the ring, and Michin hit a big takedown for an early near fall.
Michin got more kendo sticks, chairs, and a table before Nia got back up and attacked her.
Nia sent the table back under the ring before Michin brought it back out and sent it inside the ring. Michin sprayed Nia with a fire extinguisher but was sent into a garbage can in the ring, getting a DDT on the trash can lid.
Michin set up two tables and brought another trash can in before Nia hit her with a steel chair and put her on the table in the ring.
Michin got up and sent Nia through the table before Tiffany Stratton rushed in and hit her with the Money in the Bank briefcase.
Stratton looked like she might cash in but hit Michin with it again and tried to get Nia to pin her.
Bayley returned and took Stratton down with a clothesline before the six-time champion, and The Buff Barbie brawled into the crowd.
Nia hit a Samoan Drop on Michin through a table before getting the Annihilator with a trash can on top of Michin’s head before winning the SmackDown main event.
