UFC middleweight Chris Curtis has sarcastically praised Andrew Tate, after claiming that him managing to convince his fans he is an elite kickboxer was the “greatest” trick of all.
Over recent years, Tate has become of one of the most controversial figures on the internet. His views on relationships, women and the LGBTQI+ community have often landed him in the headlines and multiple accusations of crimes such as human trafficking and sexual assault have also seen him do a stint in prison.
Despite his controversies, Tate has remained a highly influential figure. Much of his fortune comes from his Hustlers University service, a paid educational course that claims to teach men how to be ‘real men’.
One of his teachings is based around combat, with Tate believing that every man should be able to fight. He often refers back to his time as a professional kickboxer and credits that to who he is today, with him amassing a record of 76-9-1 before he retired in 2020.
Whilst Andrew Tate’s kickboxing record may seem impressive, one person who isn’t convinced is Chris Curtis. The UFC middleweight recently took to X to call out the influencer, criticizing him for tricking fans into believing he was at a high-level in the discipline.
‘The Action Man’ appeared to suggest that Tate’s record flatters to decieve, as most of his bouts were fought in lesser promotions across Europe. He tweeted:
“People say the greatest trick ever played was the devil convincing man he wasn’t real. I think the greatest trick ever was Andrew Tate convincing gullible men that he was a high-level kickboxer…IYKYK”

Chris Curtis has issued an apology to Andrew Tate and his fans, after his recent tweet about the influencer’s kickboxing career saw a wave of hatred come his way.
After criticizing Tate for tricking his fans and subscribers into believing he was a high-level kickboxer, Curtis found himself the subject of a social media witch hunt. Many of his fans were unhappy with Curtis’ tweet, and opted to troll the UFC fighter instead.
One fan tweeted to Curtis:
“I guarantee you tate in his prime would KO you tf out”
The fan reaction soon led to ‘The Action Man’ sarcastically apologizing for his previous post, opting to take aim at the intelligence of Andrew Tate’s fans. He tweeted:
“It seems like I upset a lot of Andrew Tate fans in my last post, and I want to apologize. I am genuinely sorry and heartbroken that you all have fallen for such an obvious grift. I always kinda operated under the assumption that we were all of baseline intelligence. I was wrong
