WWE should have given Bronson Reed’s interview segment to female RAW star, explains veteran (Exclusive)

The card for Crown Jewel is slowly starting to take shape as WWE advanced multiple stories on RAW. Regarding Bronson Reed and Seth Rollins’ feud, Vince Russo noted how one of the interview segments could have been used for another talent.

Bronson Reed put Rollins out of action with a devastating attack weeks ago, leading to The Visionary returning for retribution. Reed sat down for a meeting with Adam Pearce on RAW and promised not to create any more issues if he gets his match against Rollins.

Seth Rollins also spoke to Pearce in a separate backstage segment, claiming that Reed would get the best version of himself when they clash inside the ring.

While speaking on Legion of RAW, Vince Russo felt that Reed and Rollins’ promos were too similar, and Bronson’s interview could have been utilized to showcase another talent’s microphone skills.

Russo said Raquel Rodriguez was one talent who could have been in a spot with Adam Pearce as she recently also returned to TV and is in a big angle. The former WWE writer explained the missed booking opportunity:

“Here’s the perfect situation as a writer, okay? You did Adam Pearce in that sit-down with Bronson Reed and what did Bronson Reed say? I want the match with Seth Rollins. Then what did you do? You went to Seth Rollins, and he said the same exact thing, rather than do both of those, let’s take Bronson out, let’s put Raquel Rodriguez in. Let her do that interview and let Seth cover him and Bronson. That’s what I’m talking about; that’s a no-brainer because Bronson Reed and Seth Rollins said the same exact thing in those promos.” [49:55 – 50:45]

WWE has not announced when and where Seth Rollins and Bronson Reed would have their match. Even if it doesn’t feature on the WWE Crown Jewel card, Reed vs. Rollins could be a worthy headliner for an upcoming Monday Night RAW episode.
