Lito Adiwang is keen to watch his fellow countryman Danny Kingad get his revenge on Adriano Moraes at ONE 169. Adiwang, like many, loves to watch a good comeback story come to life.
Danny Kingad avenging his first KO loss to former ONE flyweight MMA world champion Adriano Moraes is certainly a scene we wouldn’t want to miss.
‘The King’ is probably the most dedicated and hard-working competitor in the division. Yes, he may have bounced between the wins and losses column over the years, but it’s his no quit attitude that makes him such a fan favourite.
Speaking to Sportskeeda MMA, Lito Adiwang said:
“I’m really excited to watch Danny (Kingad)…I expect Danny to get the big win here. You can see his improvement these past few years. I’ve trained with Danny, and I’ve seen how much he’s grown as a fighter.”
Indeed, Danny Kingad has shown a lot of improvement at 135 pounds. But will it be enough to beat Adriano Moraes on Nov. 8 at Lumpinee Stadium? Moraes is also known to put on epic performances. He is the only man in MMA history to knock out the flyweight GOAT ‘Mighty Mouse’ Demetrious Johnson in April 2021.
So if there’s anything Danny Kingad hasn’t shown yet, he must do so against the former dominant world champion.

“He’s been doing good fights” – Adriano Moraes praises Danny Kingad for making major improvements to his game since their first fight seven years ago
Former 8x ONE flyweight MMA world champion Adriano Moraes had some good things to say about Danny Kingad before finding out they were slated to fight each other at ONE 169.
As Danny Kingad began making his rise back into world title contention, Moraes had been attempting to reclaim his throne from Demetrious Johnson. But all the while, he continued doing his homework and scouting guys with the most potential to become a champion – and one of them was Danny Kingad.
Speaking to ONE, he said:
“Danny Kingad is a young fighter who has been evolving a lot. He’s been doing good fights and has already beaten very tough opponents.”
