Former WWE head writer Vince Russo recently spoke about The Bloodline making a surprise appearance on RAW. The faction showed up during the main event of the show.
Jey Uso was defending the Intercontinental Championship against Bron Breakker this week on RAW. However, the match descended into chaos once Solo Sikoa and his associates showed up. Although Adam Pearce ejected Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa, Jacob Fatu caught hold of Jey and put him through the announcer’s table. Breakker then hit a Spear on Uso for the win.
This week on Legion of RAW, Vince Russo felt that The Bloodline’s involvement was unnecessary. The veteran writer claimed WWE wanted to use this incident as a means of bringing Jey Uso closer to Jimmy Uso and Roman Reigns. He felt Jey also lost the IC title because the storyline demanded it.
“They used this as a pawn in the storyline with The Bloodline. Quite honestly, I don’t think they really needed it. But they felt it added to the story, so that’s why they did it. But it was all one hundred percent storyline-driven, and that was my point two weeks ago.” [From 14:00 onwards]

With this loss, Jey Uso’s title reign ended at 28 days with just one successful title defense.
It will be interesting to see how the star manages to get revenge on his “little brother” Solo Sikoa and the rest of The Bloodline.
