Breaking: Linda McMahon and Vince are no longer together

Former WWE CEO Linda McMahon has been named the US Secretary of Education by Donald Trump ahead of his second term, a development that has sparked significant attention. In light of this, The Washington Post published an extensive article focusing on the controversies surrounding Vince McMahon, WWE’s longtime owner, and the McMahon family’s legal issues.

The article, written by Beth Reinhard and Abha Bhattarai, delves into a variety of scandals involving Vince McMahon, including the Janel Grant lawsuit, the Ring Boys scandal, and a recent lawsuit alleging sexual abuse, which claims that the McMahons were aware of the abuse. In a significant revelation, the article also addressed the McMahons’ marital situation, with Linda McMahon’s attorney, Laura Brevetti, confirming that Linda and Vince McMahon are currently separated. This is the first public acknowledgment of their separation.

Brevetti, who was also one of Vince McMahon’s attorneys in his 1994 criminal trial, further dismissed the allegations in the Ring Boys lawsuit, calling them “baseless” and accusing the suit of containing “scurrilous lies, exaggerations, and misrepresentations.”

Linda and Vince McMahon, who married in 1966, have two children, Shane and Stephanie McMahon, both of whom have played significant roles in WWE, both on-screen and behind the scenes. Linda herself has not appeared on WWE television for over a decade, though she had some prominent storylines involving her family in the past.
