Jey Uso’s journey in WWE took a significant turn when he stepped away from The Bloodline to pursue a singles career. After making a name for himself as “Main Event Jey,” he captured gold and proved he could succeed without the backing of his family. However, in October 2024, Jey reunited with his brother Jimmy Uso on SmackDown, and the emotional return left Jey reflecting on the challenges of being on the road alone.
In an interview at Complex Con with Peter Rosenberg, Jey admitted that being without his brother was difficult, especially after spending so much time with him and the rest of The Bloodline. “It was a little lonely out there sometimes, Uce,” he confessed, highlighting the difference it made having family by his side. Jey expressed relief that Jimmy was healthy and back on TV, as the two had often traveled together, making it tough when they were on different shows.
Regarding his in-ring career, Jey also mentioned his desire to face Jimmy again at WrestleMania 41. He wasn’t satisfied with their previous match at WrestleMania earlier this year, and would like to “run it back” to give the match the attention and intensity it deserved. Fans of The Usos will be eager to see if this reunion will lead to another chapter in their rivalry.
As WWE Survivor Series approaches, the OG Bloodline’s faction, including Jey and Jimmy, will face off against Solo Sikoa’s team in a WarGames match. With so much personal and professional history between the Uso brothers, their story continues to evolve in WWE.
