Matt Riddle and Randy Orton were joined at the hip before the Legend Killer’s injury put him out of action in 2022. Riddle has since been released and has now answered a question regarding The Viper.
Randy Orton injured his back and this brought an end to RK-Bro, with Riddle slowly getting lost in the shuffle in his absence. His involvement in multiple controversies didn’t help him and meant that he didn’t get pushed at the same level as fans thought that he would.
Instead, sometime after the formation of TKO with WWE and UFC after the Endeavor merger, Matt Riddle was released from the company. He’s not been silent since the release and has been very active in the indies, appearing at different shows and even winning titles. He’s done it all in different promotions as well as in his appearances in Japan.
He was live on Instagram with Misha Montana and answering different questions. During the live session, he was asked about Randy Orton and where he was. Riddle was not happy with the question and broke away from his usual placid character to give an answer.

He said that Orton still had a job and that’s why he was not with him. He went on to ask fans to stop asking that. He also said that it was a question that he was asked way too often.

While Matt Riddle was not happy with the questions about Orton, he had no issues with the star. His tone changed when talking about the star, saying that Orton was great. He added that they were still in touch.
“He’s great though. We keep in touch.”
It remains to be seen if he ever returns to WWE in the future and reunites with The Viper, who is set to face Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship at Bash in Berlin.
