Seksan Or Kwanmuang knows a little help goes a long way. The 35-year-old Muay Thai legend has certainly opened the doors for aspiring young athletes, who can to one day follow the path he laid out and make a living from ‘The Art of Eight Limbs.’
‘The Man Who Yields To No One’ recently talked about opening his new personal gym, which welcomes anyone who wants to train free of charge.
Seksan happily shared in an exclusive interview with ONE Championship:
“I’ve been running my Muay Thai gym, Sor Seksan Gym, for two to three months now. I used the money I earned from Muay Thai matches and auctioning off boxing shorts and gloves to fund the construction of my Muay Thai gym.”
After a marvelous 8-1 start under the ONE banner, Seksan has certainly been rewarded handsomely for his epic performances.
Plus, with nearly 300 career fights under his belt, the Thai icon is practically Muay Thai royalty. Any fight memorabilia he auctions off is sure to fetch a hefty price.
Seksan could further fund his noble cause in arguably his biggest match to date at ONE 168: Denver. The former Rajadamnern champion will take on fellow striking legend Liam Harrison in the promotion’s United States return at the Ball Arena on Sept. 6.
Tickets for ONE 168 are available via Ticketmaster
Seksan promises a fun fight against high-octane Liam Harrison
There’s a reason why fans have long been clamoring for this all-legend war. After all, Seksan and Liam Harrison have never been in a boring fight.
Putting them together inside the same ring in four-ounce gloves is simply a recipe for an all-out slugfest.
