Teenage phenom Adrian Lee gives a hilarious answer about his dream MMA fight

Adrian Lee, the youngest of the incredible Lee family, has a great sense of humor to ease the tension of being a professional mixed martial artist.

Born into a family of martial artists, Lee has long been exposed to grueling training sessions and fierce competitions, but his playful and witty approach may well serve him in building that strong mental fortitude.

An example of this was when ESPN Honolulu asked him about who he has always wanted to fight in an MMA match, be it real or imaginary.

His answer was a hilarious one, as he said:

“I think it’s a kangaroo. I’ve always wondered if I could beat a kangaroo in a fight, and I think I could.”

As imaginary as it can be, Adrian Lee will not be facing a kangaroo anytime soon because he will be entering the ONE Circle to clash with a strong challenger in Nico Cornejo at ONE 168: Denver on September 6.

Adrian Lee admits he’s still trying to do the “proper staredowns”

Staredowns are one way for all mixed martial artists to measure up to their opponents, but Adrian Lee is still getting used to this concept.

In fact, the teenage phenom says he is still uneasy when entering such customary pleasantries, but he has also found a way to keep himself focused throughout the entire procession.

Lee told ESPN Honolulu in the same interview:

“Not really. I try to figure out where to look. Because I don’t know if I should look at his left eye or right eye. And if you’re looking at both, your eyes are going back and forth.”

However, it will be 180 degrees different when Lee enters the cage with his rival Nico Carnejo at ONE 168: Denver on September 6. There, we will see him showcase his skills and aim for a quick finish.
