Boxing tonight (October 12, 2024): What are the fights lined up?

Tonight’s boxing schedule opens with a Top Rank and Riyadh Season collaboration with DAZN and ESPN+. However, it is fairly unusual, as the undercard will only be available on DAZN, while the main event will only be available on ESPN+. The card starts at 12 PM E.T. / 9:00 AM P.T.

The aforementioned main event features the long-awaited Artur Beterbiev vs. Dmitry Bivol clash for undisputed light heavyweight supremacy. Ahead of the bout, Beterbiev holds the division’s IBF, WBC, and WBO belts, while Bivol holds the WBA belt.

Intrigue in the matchup is heightened by the fact that both men are undefeated. Beterbiev is a perfect knockout artist who has stopped every single opponent in a 20-0 career. Meanwhile, Bivol is a defensive wizard whose sharp technique led to a 23-0 record, stupefying even the great Canelo Alvarez.

In more championship action, Fabio Wardley defends his British and Commonwealth heavyweight title against Frazer Clarke in a rematch. Their previous bout ended in a split draw, with both men retaining their undefeated records: Wardley at 17-0-1 and Clarke at 8-0-1.

Elsewhere, Jai Opetaia puts both his 25-0 record and IBF cruiserweight title on the line against the 22-2 Jack Massey. Another title bout sees Chris Eubank Jr. pit his 33-3 record against Kamil Szeremeta’s 25-2-2 in an IBO middleweight championship boxing match.

Skye Nicolson, who is 11-0, also puts her WBC women’s featherweight strap against fellow unbeaten boxer Raven Chapman. The flashy Ben Whittaker, who is undefeated at 6-0, also defends a title. Specifically, he will look to retain IBF International light heavyweight gold against the 23-6 Liam Cameron.

Lastly, Mohammed Alakel makes his professional boxing debut against the 0-2 Jesus Gonzalez at lightweight, as does Marco Maric against the 14-45-2 Christian Lopez Flores at light middleweight.
