Carlos Alcaraz vs Holger Rune: Where to watch, TV schedule, live streaming details and more | Six Kings Slam 2024

Carlos Alcaraz and Holger Rune will clash in the Six Kings Slam quarterfinal encounter, with both players looking for a shot to play Rafael Nadal. The latter has been given a direct entry into the semifinal round of the six-player exhibition tournament.

Alcaraz will come into the tournament in solid form, having won the China Open last month. The Spaniard did suffer a surprise loss at the Shanghai Masters, going down 7-6(5), 7-5 to Tomas Machac, and will be keen on bouncing back.

Earlier, during his title run at Beijing, he took out the likes of Karen Khachanov and Daniil Medvedev en route to the summit clash. Taking on World No. 1 Jannik Sinner in the final, Alcaraz battled hard for three sets before prevailing 7-6(6), 4-6, 7-6(3).

Rune, meanwhile, has had an up-and-down Asian swing. He started with a first-round exit at the Hangzhou Open despite being the top seed but was able to come back strongly at the Japan Open.

Seeded sixth, Rune made the semifinal in Tokyo with wins over the likes of Yoshihito Nishioka and Kei Nishikori before being stopped by Arthur Fils.

The Dane also participated at the Shanghai Masters, where he opened his campaign with a battling three-set win over fellow former top-10 player Matteo Berrettini. He followed it up with another tight win over Jiri Lehecka before falling against Taylor Fritz in the round of 16. He could manage only three games in the 6-1, 6-2 drubbing.

This will be the third career meeting between Alcaraz and Rune. The Spaniard leads his opponent in their head-to-head with a slender 2-1 margin. He also won their most recent meeting, which came at last year’s Wimbledon Championships in straight sets.
