Winnie Harlow, was among the celebrities who reacted to the sudden passing of former One Direction member Liam Payne. The musician reportedly fell from the third floor of a hotel in Argentina and died on the spot.
On her Instagram, Harlow shared a photo of her with the pop star and wrote a heartfelt message:

Payne had been struggling with alcoholism and had admitted to getting treatment. In July 2023, he went on his YouTube channel to announce that he had been sober for over six months.
A staff member at the hotel where Payne passed away, according to an Associated Press report, described him as being “overwhelmed with drugs and alcohol.” Kyle Kuzma’s girlfriend posted another Instagram story reflecting on the fleeting nature of life.
“Life is short. We are but a blip in existence. But in this blip, I’m here with you. And for that gift, of being here with you, to show my gratitude; I love you,” she wrote.
“Nothing you feel is yours alone. From love to fear, we are here. Together. I love you.”

Following One Direction’s disbandment in 2016, Liam Payne and his former group members took on separate solo careers. In 2019, the Wolverhampton, West Midlands England native released his first solo album entitled LP1.
Despite his previous with the boyband, his solo project wasn’t as well received. Kyle Kuzma’s girlfriend, Winnie Harlow, remained one of the singer’s most supportive followers.
In a July 2019 Facebook post, Payne wrote:
“Lovely to see you Winnie Harlow [and] Stella Maxwell. Thanks for your support as always, you are amazing.”
Officials have yet to confirm whether foul play was involved in the 31-year-old’s death.
