Chelsea are reportedly planning a significant defensive overhaul, targeting two key players from FC Barcelona: Jules Koundé and Ronald Araujo. According to reports, the Blues are willing to spend a substantial €150 million to secure the duo, aiming to strengthen their defense for the future.
Chelsea’s defense has been a point of concern this season, despite a solid overall performance under manager Enzo Maresca. While players like Levi Colwill and Wesley Fofana have impressed, the team still lacks a clear leader at the back, a gap made more apparent after Thiago Silva’s summer departure. Koundé and Araujo have emerged as top targets to address this issue.
