Collins, in turn, highlighted the unique camaraderie among American players, noting how team events like the Billie Jean King Cup bring a “holiday” atmosphere and strengthen bonds among players.
Collins participated in the Billie Jean King Cup Finals alongside Taylor Townsend, Peyton Stearns, Caroline Dolehide, and Ashlyn Krueger. However, the team faced a 2-1 defeat to Slovakia in the quarterfinals, while Pegula and Gauff were absent following their WTA Finals campaigns .
