Petchtanong, who claimed the bantamweight kickboxing title in November 2022 with a split decision victory over Hiroki Akimoto at ONE 163, is confident in his ability to handle the unique challenge posed by Anane. Despite Anane’s imposing height and skill, Petchtanong believes his vast experience will allow him to navigate the challenges and secure the victory.
The back-and-forth battle between Petchtanong and Akimoto in 2022 was a thrilling contest, with both fighters landing significant combinations. Ultimately, Petchtanong’s superior damage inflicted on Akimoto earned him the judges’ nod, crowning him as the new bantamweight king.
