Canadian actress Melyssa Ford made a striking comment about Steph Curry while discussing the Golden State Warriors star on a podcast episode with Joe Budden.
Ford, a Canadian media figure who co-hosts “The Joe Budden Podcast,” debated with her co-host about the different ways the two men present themselves.
She pointed out that Curry is seen as wholesome and lacks the sex appeal of actors like Kodjoe.

“When Boris Kodjoe and Steph Curry walk into the same room, Steph Curry is going to get flocked and flanked by a million groupie n****s,” Ford said. “Women aren’t going to be able to get to Steph Curry because of all the men surrounding him.”
“Here’s the difference between Steph Curry and Boris Kodjoe: Steph Curry, yes, you’re right, his whole image is wholesome, and that’s the way he comes across. He doesn’t come across as having an enormous amount of sex appeal. Boris Kojo, he can’t help but come across as ridiculously sexy.”
In November 2023, People Magazine dubbed Curry as among the “21 sexiest men in sports.”
He landed at 12th in the list, with the magazine praising him as a family man.
Interestingly, following Curry at No. 13 and No. 14 were fellow NBA stars Jayson Tatum and Jimmy Butler, respectively.
Steph Curry welcomed his 4th child with Ayesha Curry earlier this year
On May 11, Steph and his wife Ayesha welcomed their fourth child, a son named Caius Chai.
The Currys are also parents to a son, Canon, born in 2018, and two daughters, Riley and Ryan.
In a March interview featured on Ayesha’s website, “Sweet July,” Ayesha revealed they had initially thought their family was complete following the birth of Canon.
“For so many years, Stephen and I thought we were done,” Ayesha said. “And then, last year, we looked at each other and agreed we wanted to do this again.”
“But one of the biggest differences is a new understanding that this really does pass by in the blink of an eye. And in the blink of an eye, it could also all be taken away. That’s encouraged me to slow down and take in every single little thing—especially with it being my last pregnancy.”
Curry is entering his 16th season in the NBA. He is a 10-time All-Star, two-time MVP, one-time Finals MVP award and four-time champion with the Warriors. On Aug. 10, he won his first Olympic gold medal with US men’s basketball team in Paris.
