Real Madrid star Lucas Vazquez has confirmed he will extend his contract with the club until 2025. The 32-year-old has made almost 350 appearances for Los Blancos since breaking into the first team in 2015.
Vazquez, who played a crucial role in Real Madrid’s recent Champions League triumph, expressed his commitment to the club following their victory against Borussia Dortmund. “Yes, it looks like I’m going to stay at Real Madrid,” Vazquez said, dispelling any doubts about his future.
His current contract was set to expire this summer, but the new agreement ensures that Vazquez will continue contributing to Real Madrid’s success for the foreseeable future. Vazquez is a product of the Madrid academy and has won four La Liga titles and five Champions Leagues with the club.
In addition to Vazquez, midfielder Luka Modric has also penned a new deal with Real Madrid, securing his stay until 2025. Modric joined Los Blancos from Tottenham Hotspur in 2012 and has since amassed six Champions League trophies and four La Liga championships, among other accolades.
